Monetization Overview

TikTok allows you to generate revenue by integrating monetization features into your mini game. The methods available are designed to fit different product needs and business models:

• Set up in-app ads to drive traffic and generate revenue, allowing users to earn rewards in return
• Offer subscriptions and one-time purchases for premium content and upgrades

Prerequisites

To access monetization features, your business must be verified by TikTok for Developers. Learn more about verifying your business.

Set up and manage monetization

Monetization settings can be accessed on the organization level within the Developer Portal.

1. Go to My organizations, then click your organization.
2. Click the Monetization tab.

On the Monetization page, you can enable features, view revenue statements, and manage payouts.

• Overview: Set up monetization by enabling features and registering a payout account.
• Sign contracts to enable in-app ads and in-app purchases for mini games
• Provide TikTok with business and tax information to set up your payout account.
