Submit an Infringement Report
If you believe that a mini game or mini app infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit an infringement report through our platform. We will review your submission and, where appropriate, take action in accordance with our policies.
This guide applies to infringement claims related to apps, creative assets, page content, character designs, copy, audio or video materials, trademarks, copied content, and similar content.
Step 1: Submit supporting materials
Submit an infringement report through our support system and provide the relevant supporting materials. Upon receipt, our platform will conduct an initial review based on the materials submitted. If your submission is incomplete, you may be asked to provide additional information. The case will not proceed to formal review until the submission is complete.
You should generally provide the following in your support ticket submission:
Material | Description |
Basic information about the reported item | App name, TikTok mini game/mini drama link, developer entity information (About Page), and the location of the relevant page or asset |
Description of the complaint | A clear explanation of the rights allegedly infringed and the specific nature of the infringement |
Proof of rights |
|
Comparative infringement materials | Materials comparing the two mini games/mini dramas to demonstrate consistency or similarity in content, including screenshots or screen recordings of key scenes, UI, characters, art assets, and other relevant elements |
Step 2: Review and remediation
If your report is substantiated, the infringing party will be given 3 calendar days to remediate. Remediation measures may include, without limitation, removing infringing assets, revising game or drama content, resources, copy, or page presentation, taking down unauthorized content, replacing infringing names, icons, characters, or audio/video materials, and providing proof of authorization or screenshots or screen recordings showing that remediation has been completed.
If the infringing party fails to complete remediation within 3 days, or if infringement remains after remediation, the platform may take direct enforcement action, including but not limited to:
- Removing the relevant mini game or mini drama app
- Restricting visibility
- Limiting distribution, search, recommendation, or access entry points
- Escalating penalties depending on the severity of the case
