This guide explains how to configure localization for your mini game, if you plan to release your mini game to multiple global regions. English is the default language for your app and will be configured automatically.
Set up additional languages
If you want to release your mini game in different languages, you must configure localization on your mini game's app page.
- On your mini game's app page, click the Localization tab.
- Click the Add language button.
- Select your desired language then click the Add button.
- Enter your app's basic information in the new language you selected, then click Submit.
After you submit the new language setting, TikTok will review it. Upon approval, your new language setting will go live.
The languages selected will match the user's language settings in the TikTok App:
- Online: For a language that has been configured and is Online, the app name, app icon, app description, Terms of Service URL, and Privacy Policy URL will be displayed in the language that matches the user's TikTok language settings.
- Offline: If a language has not been configured or the language status is Offline, then the app name, app icon, app description, Terms of Service URL, and Privacy Policy URL will be displayed in the default language.
