Compliance Enforcement
Members of your organization can monitor and manage your app's compliance with TikTok’s safety policies and community guidelines. Use this feature to view specific policy violations, understand their corresponding enforcement actions, and take direct actions like submitting disputes or resubmitting your app for review after issues are resolved.
Compliance tab
The compliance tab exists on the organization level in the Developer Portal. To navigate to the compliance dashboard:
- Go to your organization in the Developer Portal.
- Click the Compliance tab.
Manage violations
If your app has violations, you must review and resolve them to maintain compliance.
There are two types of enforcement actions that may be triggered against your app, depending on your violation:
- Warning: For experience violations, you must fix or appeal the violation by the stated deadline or your app will be taken offline. The deadline is set 30 days after the violation was first detected.
- App taken offline: For content security violations, your app is immediately taken offline and is no longer visible to users. You must fix the violation within your app and resubmit the new app version for review.
If your app was taken offline or you fail to resolve your violation by the stated deadline, your production version will show as blocked on your app's Code version page.
Depending on your scenario, you may need to submit a new code version for review to relaunch the mini app on TikTok, or relaunch the app directly.
Note: You’ll also receive inbox and email notifications when warnings, enforcement actions, or dispute results are issued.
Your mini app may have been flagged for any of the following policy violations:
- Adult nudity and sexual activities
- Game content and functionality
- Harassment and bullying
- Hateful behavior
- Illegal activities and regulated goods
- Integrity and authenticity
- Minor safety
- Required capability
- Suicide, self-harm, and dangerous acts
- Violent and graphic content
- Violent extremism
